Want to keep all of your passwords in a safe place on your computer. Go to Password Safe and download the software to your computer. Then create a database with your user names and passwords. But don't forget the password to your Password Safe database!

Warning for all future teachers who will allow/use laptops and/or desktops in their classroom! Firefox, Safari, and others are joining up to create a "private operation mode". This means that there will automatically be no history, no cookies, no trace of where the users have been while in that mode...which means easy and undectable access to websites that are immoral! Here is the link for more details: http://www.techcrunch.com/2008/09/12/porn-mode-coming-to-firefox/

Always wanted an Apple computer but didn't think you could afford it? Apple provides discounts on their products to teachers and their students for educational purposes. Apple offers thousands of different ways to use technology in the classroom as well as software to help use this technology. http://www.apple.com/education/products/ I suggest looking at the mobile Learning Lab link.

My WOW of the week comes in the form of a video game. Mystery Case Files: Millionheir (MCF) for the Nintendo DS. This game belongs to the Nintendo Touch Generation series of games which promotes actively participating in the game like the game Brain Age. MCF is an object searching game with an overarching mystery for the player to solve. It is a game made for females our age and older who only have a few minutes to sit down and step into a different world. However, it is great for all ages because it makes you think and allows you to interact with the game. Anyone who doesn't have a Nintendo DS needs to think about getting one. I personally am not a video game player but having a Nintendo DS allows me some de-stressing time in a really fun way! Check out the website! http://www.mysterycasefiles.com/games/millionheir (How do I know so much about this game? My husband produced it!)
